1-Tell me about yourself?
Ans- Myself Avinash residing at Nagpur. My father is working as an accountant in a private firm and I live with my mother and father apart from my younger sister studying in a college and younger brother working in a private firm

2-Why should I hire you?
Ans- I am a post graduate in engineering and I have good leadership qualities and I am quite courageous and I am capable of handling any situations and I can manage in a bank if I am selected in the bank

3-What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Ans – I am honest and sincere in discharging my duties; however, during certain occasions by spending my time in helping others, I lose grip in my duties slightly

4-Why do you want to work at Banking sector?
Ans – Presently banking sector is poised for good growth and there are lot of promotion opportunities in the bank and a person who joins in a bank as an officer can become a general manager by the time he retires from the services of the bank provided he performs well in the bank

5-What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?
Ans – Confidence is believing in one self taking into his strength and weaknesses. Overconfidence is believing too much about oneself unnecessary comparing himself with some imaginary figure. Confidence leads to success whereas overconfidence puts the person into many troubles

6-What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
Ans- Hard work is going on doing some work without thinking the pros and cons of the work. Smart work is doing appropriate activity at the right time

7-What are your goals?
Ans- I wish to join in a bank as an officer; pass CAIIB examinations; perform my work sincerely; getting promotions at the right opportunity; help others; mingle with others friendly and amicably

8-What motivates you to do good job?
Ans – Only a person who performs well can attract others. A better performer is treated as an asset for an organization

9-What makes you angry?
Ans – When I find people spend their time in unwanted activities without minding about their better future

10-Give me an example of your creativity?
Ans – I am able to provide immediate solutions for any kind of problems and in fact my friends used to approach me during their troublesome times. I play good Chess and solve SUDOKU games easily within less time

11-Are not you overqualified for this position?(for b.tech And m.tech students)
Ans – In fact with an intention to become a self employed person, I took up the engineering subject; however, under the present situation, I am willing to work in a bank rather than starting an employment venture on my own

12-Describe your ideal bank, location and job.
Ans- My ideal bank will be a best performing bank both in terms of development, customer service and treating their employees honourably. I have no special preference for any location; however I like to work in cities and in the case of responsibilities, I shall undertake any kind of responsibilities in my career

13-What are your career options right now?
Ans – To start with I am willing to join as an officer; pass CAIIB; get promotions at first opportunities; be a better performer in the bank

14-Explain how would be an asset to banking sector?
Ans – When I do my job sincerely and honestly apart from completing the assignments in time, definitely I can be an asset for my organization

15-What are your outside interests?
Ans – I like to watch tennis, badminton, play chess, play Sudoku, listen to music, travel to new places and mingle with friends and relatives

16-Who has inspired you in your life and why?
Ans- I am inspired by Swami Vivekananda. I like his following words-“All power is within you and you can do anything and everything. Believe in that”

17-What was the toughest decision you ever had to make?
Ans – I have not come across such situations till now. However, during many times, I had forgone many comforts on behalf of my friends during my college days

18-Have you considered starting your own business?
Ans – I had the idea sometime earlier and as of now I am willing to join in the bank as an officer

19-How do you define success and how do you measure upto your own definition?
Ans- I define success as follows – “ If you love your every moment and do something constructively each moment that itself is a success. Such small victories can definitely lead me to great victories in the future”

20-If you won $10 million lottery, would you still work?
Ans – Since the amount is found to be huge one, I will start thinking of an industry on my own so that I can provide employment opportunities to many youngsters who are vying for jobs

21-Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Ans – Definitely I hope that I can get a job in a bank as an officer and after five years I will be working as a manager in the bank heading a branch

22-On a scale of one to ten, rate me as an interviewer.
Ans – I find that you have been putting many toughest questions with me and I had not never come across an interviewer who had posed such tough questions. Your questions really awakened my instincts and as far as I am concerned, I rate you as the best around “9”.
